In 2018, the Cook Islands Rugby Union engaged the services and product for R80 to kit out our national Menās First XV team for Rugby World Cup Qualifier matches v Hong Kong on 30 June 2018 and 7 July 2018. Service and response from R80 were top notch and we really pressed them regarding turnaround times. Nevertheless, they were able to come up with all the kit that was ordered and gave some very favourable discounts due to the amount of our order. The gear itself is top quality.
The Playing Strip: Characteristically tight fit, the material used was flexible and fitted comfortably on the players as if they were a second skin without feeling or looking claustrophobic. The material itself feels very durable and very light, perfect for the climates in which they were used ā Rarotonga, Cook Islands and then Hong Kong where it is both very hot and muggy. Visually the gear looked great and were customised to our specifications along with including sponsors and the appropriate logos and placements. Very professional and highly recommended. The ancillary gear (off-field gear), training equipment, recovery equipment was all well marked and will also be of great use for years to come. The off-field and training apparel matched each other well and brought a professional look to our national team whether they were training, playing or travelling. Easy to deal with, service is fantastic and accommodating for the needs of any professional or national team and sport.
